The fact that we know self-reflection works is much more important than knowing the pragmatics of how it works. But how can we improve our abilities to see the benefits of self-reflection?
I want you to just pay attention. Do some meditative practices in your daily life. 60 seconds or 60 seconds, it doesn't matter. Just spend some time with yourself and you will begin to notice a difference. And take note of those differences as you move forward in your life!
